raging

I've got to get some of those wings. They're amazing

right on target

This latest collection from CHEAP MONDAY contains most of the major trends coming up in winter fashion which shows their growth and evolution since they first emerged on the fashion scene. From patchwork denim to oversized shredded knits, this collection proves that Cheap Monday's are quickly becoming much more than just the brand of your favourite inexpensive Jeans.

if only you were mine

This is exquisite! I found this editorial shoot somewhere along my travels and instantly fell in love with this neckpiece/dress.
I'm in love with over the top pieces and this is one of the most beautiful things i've seen.

no words.. or too many

I literally can't contain my excitment over the new ELLERY collection - I have died and gone to heaven. This collection oozes sex with sophistication and a twist on traditional tailoring - the only problem? It's going to break the bank account. Here's some of my favourite pieces from the collection.

and for the men...

One of my favourite online sites for men is a relatively unknown domain called "for-tomorrow". Featuring Up to date collections of some of the best men's designers, For-Tomorrow boasts (some of my personal favourites) the likes of:

Friedrich Gray
Claude Maus
Saint Augustine Academy
Nathan Smith
Fernando Frisoni

and more! check them out here: http://www.f-t.com.au/catalog/

AJE

One of my most beloved designers, AJE has impressed me again with their latest Autum/Winter Collection. It's becoming harder and harder to find designers who consistently 'wow' collection after collection, but AJE has stayed true and have outdone themselves with this one - I definately plan on owning a few things <3

easy on the eyes

Is that all there is?

Last night I met with one of our amazing models Shauna, to go over some of the shoot details and as the night progressed we found ourselves delving into some of the more serious issues plaguing our society and the world. I was reminded of the need to be aware of the world around us and that - "we're all in this together". Don't get me wrong, I love the beautiful, comforts the world has to offer... but we also live in a world filled with hurt and pain and I believe it's important that we are the generation that educates ourselves and has compassion for people in need. So here are a few issues close to my heart and people doing amazing things in our world - for those keen to expand their minds and hearts.

this week's purchases

The Jeffrey Campbell alexa wedges I ordered OVER A MONTH ago finally arrived. I honestly thought I had lost them in the post somewhere, but alas! they're here and they're better than ever, so comfy too.
My next favourite purchase is this print singlet dress from Friedrich Gray's new collection, I love that the colour's are so vivid yet it still has that dark androgynous feeling -  perfection.

fashion gets bold

For the first time in forever it feels like designers are finally daring to adopt the attitude of 'anything goes' when it comes to fashion and self expression. We're seeing crazy intergalactic prints, fierce strong shoulders and mixing anything and everything (particularly pieces that don't match) to create a unique clash of clothing.
Romance was Born is one of my favourite designers and they seem to just be getting more innovative and bolder with every collection. Online stores like pixie market are also following the trend with some of the most interesting designs to brave fashion of late. All I can say is dare to be bold and don't follow the rules - fashion can be as creative and interesting as your heart desires.
